What we collect

Only what you send us in the enquiry form: name, email address, phone (optional), the dates you want, number of guests, and whatever you write in the message. We do not collect browsing data, we use no traffic analytics, and there is no profiling or advertising.

What we use it for

Solely to answer your enquiry and, if it goes ahead, to arrange your stay. We do not use your data to send marketing, and we do not sell or pass it to third parties for marketing purposes.

On what basis

Processing rests on your consent when you submit the form and, where a booking follows, on pre-contractual steps and performance of the accommodation contract (Article 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR).

Who has access

• The owners of Villa dos Santos, who receive the enquiry by email.
• Resend, the service that delivers the email, processing in the European region (eu-west-1), on our behalf and under contract.
• The site's hosting provider, which operates the servers.

There are no transfers outside the European Economic Area.

How long we keep it

The enquiry email stays in the owners' mailbox. The site's server keeps only a technical record of the send — date, result and message identifier — without what you wrote, your name or your contact details. You may ask for deletion at any time.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection, and to withdraw consent. Write to villadossantos57@gmail.com. You may also complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, CNPD (cnpd.pt).

Cookies

This site sets no cookies on your device. There are no analytics, advertising or social cookies, which is why you are not asked for consent. See the Cookie Policy for detail.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS and the form has protections against automated submission. No system is infallible, but we keep the data we collect to the minimum necessary, which is the best protection there is.
